    Default Sub-Categories Not Displaying In Center Column

    Hello,

    Upgrading from 1.3.9, to 1.5.4.

    The live 1.3.9 site displays sub-categories when selecting a main category from the left column "Products" navigation. Here is the link:
    http://www.bhjdynamics.com/

    The new 1.5.4 site displays all products in categories that have sub-categories, instead of displaying the sub-cats, like the 1.3.9 site does. Here is that link:
    http://63.135.124.97/

    A good test is to select "Ford" from the left menu on the 1.3.9 site. Then select "US Domestic", then "Ford" on the 1.5.4 site, for comparison.

    Not sure how this happened. Any suggestions are very much appreciated. I just can't figure it out.

    I have searched and cannot come up with an answer to my problem in existing posts. Forgive me if I missed it somewhere.

    Thank you very much!
    chrx

    In your 1.5.4 install do you have products under Chrysler/Mopar and also categories?

    Thank you for asking.

    I expect the Chrysler/Mopar section here (new site):
    http://63.135.124.97/index.php?main_...dex&cPath=74_7

    To look like the Chrysler/Mopar category here (live site):
    http://www.bhjdynamics.com/index.php...=index&cPath=7

    I may try reverting back to the original category order of the live site and see if something went wrong when I re-organized everything into the three new top-level categories.

    In the admin, when I open the Chrysler/Mopar category, it shows the sub-categories only. Then the products appear only when I open each individual category, as they do in the 1.3.9 site admin.

    It looks like you did not use your live site DB for this owing to the fact that live site is

    cPath=7

    And test site is

    cPath=74_7

    I have not seen a cpath such as this
