    Default text email customers greeting, getting html tags

    Hi
    I had this on v151 , that display a customer discount cupom.
    I'm only seding text emails, but I get html tags on that email.

    Code:

    <div> <div>

    ======================================================================

    <div>Blah blah blah<div>

    <div>Blah blah blahBlah blah blahBlah blah blah
    Blah blah blah<div>

    <div> <div>

    <div>Blah blah blah

    ======================================================================<div>
    .... what should I be looking for this no to happen ?

    Thanks

    Umm. I'd say pretty hard to answer specifically with the provided (lack of) information. Look for something that offers a test of the type of email being sent (html or not) and in cases of the html style email to have it add the necessary tags, if not the tags should not be present or should be stripped. A number of approaches on how to accomplish the intended task. To obtain direct assistance, posting the code that generates this message would be the "best" way to go.

    Thanks
    I've check the cupom message in the admin area.
    The ckeditor, added some <div>
    So I guess, the <p> are clean, but the <div> are not....
    Made a paste as simple text, and sent a email for myself, and now it's ok !

    By the way. Perhaps I could ask something else more or less related to this :

    I've always use the text email's.... but there are the html ones too.
    Is it good for a online shop to use the html ones ? Isn't the risk of getting into spam folders higher ?

    Thanks
