Can I attach a discount to a supplier instead of to a product?

Is there a way to attach a discount to a supplier instead of to a product? I can offer discounts offer a 25% discount from one supplier bu only 10% from another and so on.

If you're using the supplier as an attribute, you can apply an additional price to the attribute. I could not apply a discount to a single attribute, so if you have several suppliers, all but the one would be a higher price.

You can add a negative value for an attribute just place a "-" in the box preceding the price

For all the products from the same supplier. I can offer 20% from one supplier but another I can only offer 10%.
I have done nothing to any of the products except for name, price, description and set Product Priced by Attributes to yes in to the database

So if I was to add the supplies to the 'attributes' and set them up that why, that could work?
