Tabbed Prod Pro (TPP): Adding Anchor Links

Hi,

I decided not to put this in the TPP Support thread because what I want to do is sort of off the books. I did comb thru the thread and found others trying to do this, but no solution was posted.

In a nutshell I'd like a way to use standard anchors to trigger a Tab switch. Here is a link to where I am playing with this:

Ok, halfway there!

I added this to get it to switch:
<a href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="expandcontent('sc2', this)">Quality Assurance</a>

Now it will switch, but it's wonky. The new tab is not highlighted!

Ack! I'm going nuts! Can somebody pretty please help me out?

My link now works, but I can't get the tab to behave properly. It's supposed to highlight the tab being viewed in blue.

Click back and forth between the two tabs, Product Description & Quality Assurance. Then click on the link I supply beneath the Satisfaction Guarantee image.

What am I missing?

Ok, in case anybody else stumbles in here trying to do the same thing, this is how I solved it:

The other thing I noticed was the tabs are in list tags as well as the spans and they are in a div with an ID which I can't remember now. So it's possible that that is related.

It might be more likely to be a js issue. You could post in the dynamic drive forum if it is a js issue to see if you can get help there if no one can help here.

You're right, there are list tags and div ids. I'm going to fiddle around with that this morning. And I'll also repost in a dif forum.... thanks!
