Problems with special characters in my Admin

What do you mean "what do I do with the sanitize_debug output"? Are you asking what to do with the file? How to make it stop generating the file? What the contents of the file are telling you? Can you be a little more specific about the request?

Obviously, the report is telling me it sanitized Health & Beaty...which is where the problem is.

What do I need to do, besides completely turning off sanitizing, to override / stop the program from doing what I don't want it to do. I.E. Quit replacing & with & (or any other special characters with anything but the special character).

As I said, this is not just happening in my dev app...all of admin is affected.

In Zen-cart 1.5.6c, with sanitize debugging turned off, go to Admin Configuration Layout and try to replace   with  ...the value will come back as  

In my app, Health & Beauty value comes back as Health & Beauty.

Debugging is turned on to try and figure out why special characters (mainly & with &) in admin are being replaced with html entities. Please read the whole post. Thanks for your input.

This issue is fixed in Zen Cart 1.5.7. You might want to just use "and" for now until you can upgrade.
