Every Page has the same heading, after installing Add More Pages plugin

After the upgrade to 1.5.5a, I installed Add Pages to More Information Sidebox. Missed some files so went through each of the plugin's files and compared to the files on my server. Fixed the problems and pages are now named correctly in More Info sidebox. The problem is that every page, not just the three new ones, shows Page 5 as the heading.

Using Chrome Dev Tools, that area shows <h1 id="indexDefaultHeading">Page 5</h1>. I once thought I could find and fix anything using the Dev Tool Kit. Not this time I have wasted entirely too much time trying to find what I am overlooking. Help, please?

You've added a define for 'Page 5' to a file that gets applied everywhere ... so either you put it in english.php (unadvised), or you put it in extra_definitions (which loads all files on every page).

I don't have that plugin's files in front of me, but usually if you're adding more pages you'd put your new page's page-specific text defines in its own file at /includes/languages/english/YOUR_PAGE_NAME.php (where YOUR_PAGE_NAME matches the main_page=YOUR_PAGE_NAME in the URL of the page when you visit it in the browser).

So, just shuffle the heading define into the correct place and it should all sort itself out ;)
