Additonal product images from admin

Hi, I would like for my client to be able to upload additional product images from admin product area. Have looked around and there are some very old threads on the subject.

At the moment it still seems that you have to ftp images to the image folder with the _01 _02 etc

Am using vrs 1.5.5 with the bana template

Is there a mod to enable this functionality?

There are settings in the catalog->product types->configuration section assuming that the template supports additional images.

With that turned on, then if a file exists in the directory for the product's image that includes the name of the base file for that product, it will be shown with the product that has that same base file name.

As far as mod's, there is Image Handler (version 4 for ZC 1.5.x) which makes managing such pictures easier, but it doesn't "enable" the additional images option.

Also, as far as "ftping" the files. Whatever file is last loaded into the product information field and attached to the product (go through the update process) will become the default image filename and thus, if all additional images are loaded first, then upon loading the base image, the additional images will "appear".

Doh, Of course load multiple images to product, named correctly, then load the master image
