Contact Form not Sending after Update

Greetings,
I know there is probably a thread about this in the correct sections -> upgrading 1.3 - 1.5 but after going through 19 pages I decided to just ask. Our site can be seen at www.toadland.com. We recently updated the site, everything else functions perfectly fine. The pages still displayed, products are still there it all seemed fine. Then we noticed that our contact us form is not working, we are using the SMTP Auth method, have a completely independent email account for it which also receives our order confirmations. I've ensured there are no typos in the Dropdown list options and I've verified that the email can get messages from other accounts. I'm lost, if the order confirmations work shouldn't the contact us? If so is it an error in the contact us file that I can edit via ftp? Please help, we've been down for a few days. Well just the contact us.

In that sort of case where the symptoms are isolated to just the contact-us messages, and the dropdown is being used, I start by deleting what's in the dropdown: just leave that setting blank. Then test fresh.

Also, are you using v155a?

Your contact_us page is modified from the as-shipped Zen Cart version. Are you sure that you properly merged your site's customizations into the updated /includes/modules/pages/contact_us/header_php.php?

Thank you for responding so quickly. From what I can see you're a legend on here! I ran the tests without anything in the drop down, still didn't work.

As for the issues, yes it is isolated to the contact us page. I wanted to obliterate it and re create it but I wanted to seek alternatives first.

Thats amazing, I didn't think about that. Let me comb over the original file and compare to the new file, I'll make the appropriate changes but I don't think there are any. This was a real basic setup.

I made the appropriate changes in the file Lat9 mentioned, honestly there were no differences aside from an additional line break and beginning statement. Weird, but it works now!!! You are so awesome!!! thank you so much!!! Rock on, I never would have though of that. I'm used to Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress. I'm actually quite impressed with Zencart its amazing.

If they were never actually sent, then no. Period.

If they "were" sent but never "arrived", then ... if you'd enabled email-archiving (Admin->Config->Email Options) then they'd be stored in the database (and quickly filling up a lot of disk space on your server) and could be retrieved by using the Email Archive Viewer plugin.
