One-Page Checkout [Support Thread]

I am just testing out the opc. I did notice one thing and was wondering if there was a way to fix this.

When you go to the guest checkout ?main_page=checkout_one you see shipping address checkbox grey out on the bottom.

Is there a way I can align up billing/shipping address and on the left side and have the shipping address checkbox on the right side instead of having it in rows. If you click it then I want the shipping address to show up on the right. This way the billing and shipping are save in one spot


Is this possible?

I am not sure if I move the Shipping Address, Same as Billing checkbox to the top will it effect the rest of the process.

if the customer has a different shipping address than click save based on my example will that work?

The main reason I need to do this is because when you get to the checkout page as a guest.
I am seeing the billing address as the shipping rate.

If the customer has a different shipping address, you have to put it in on the next page
Is it possible to add the shipping address info in before getting to the checkout page and see correct shipping rates.
My great drawing is an example of what I am trying to accomplish.

Any ideas of suggestions would be great

What are your settings for Configuration >> One-Page Checkout Settings >> Enable Shipping=Billing?

That will make a difference in the look as well.

Enable Shipping=Billing? Is set to true
It’s a great feature but I just need the customer to have the option on that page to add a shipping address before clicking on save changes.


FYI (Enable Shipping=Billing) no changes on my end except it shows hide elements based on what option i choose.

Try both silversageherbsDOTcom and topkayakerDOTcom with something in guest checkout.

Does either look like something you could work with?

Its basically the same thing as have now. but you added
"Enter your Billing address. We'll verify your shipping address After you select Save Changes."

I might be able to work with topkayaker
