Custom Text on Checkout page

I want to add some custom text to the first page of checkout (specifically stating that coupon discounts would be entered on the next page) and then on the second page where you enter the coupon code I would also like to add some custom text. How would I do this?

There are many factors to this. Especially if you are using mods that might effect the outcome. Are you still using the Order Totals mod? None of you other posts answer the posting tips or provide a link.

Sorry. I am using Order Totals. I found the answer. By modifying the text on checkout_confirmation.php, checkout_shipping.php and shopping_cart.php I was able to add what I needed. Thank you.

Glad you found the answer. Wasn't slapping your wrist for anything. Just pointing out ways to "fish." Teach a man to fish....

Will come in handy some night at 2 AM when it's REALLY important.
