Cross Sell Plus Advanced Sell Combo

First off, Thank you for getting this addon updated for v.1.5!

It was the last hurdle I wanted to clear with the latest zencart upgrade.

I noticed a few issues with the 1.0 version of this mod.

admin/images/icons are missing from the download.

ie images/icons/admin_delete.gif


Also, in the SQL code, line 15, TYPE=MyISAM needs to be changed to ENGINE=MyISAM before it can be successfully run.

Other than that, it works as described, atleast on the few items I have created X-sell's for so far. I will try and put it through its paces over the next few days and report any other issues.

Also, as a side note, it works with MagneticOne's Zen Cart manager too!

Adding Cross-Sell details:
Standard Cross Sell Catalog->Cross Sell Products <<< Where do I find this?
-Pick a product to add products to. Hit edit, add products. Hit Save.
Advanced Cross Sell Catalog->Advanced Cross-Sell
- Fill in Product Model and the Product Models you wish to offer, save.

I DO see the following:
Configuring how many Cross-Sell items are displayed:
Admin->Configuration->MINimum Values->Display Cross-Sell Products (Enter the Min number of items required to display list)
Admin->Configuration->MAXimum Values->Display Cross-Sell Products (Enter the Max number of cross-sell items to show. 0 to disable site-wide)
Admin->Product Info->Cross-Sell Products Columns per Row (Enter the number of Cross-Sell items to show per row)
Admin->Product Info->Cross-Sell - Display Prices (Select whether to display prices in the list of cross-sell products)

Did you figure out your problem? I don't see the Catalog->Cross Sell Products either. I do see the other (min,max,columns, etc)

Hi Folks,

If your not seeing anything popup in the catalog drop down in admin here are the steps to get it to show in the menu there.

Go to admin --> Admin Page Registration

For the page key you can enter what ever you want to title it

Page name is BOX_CATALOG_ADVANCED_XSELL_PRODUCTS

Page Filename is FILENAME_XSELL_ADVANCED_PRODUCTS

Page Parameters, leave blank

Menu, choose catalog

Check the checkbox for display in menu

Enter a number for the sort order, whatevery you want

And thats it, if you want to use the original cross sell page and not the advance cross sell you can download the original cross sell module and navigate to admin/boxes/extra boxes/ open the file in there and you'll see the appropriate keys to register another page.

Great add on.... very handy...... would be nice to be able to cross sell a category as well as products.

I am having the same problem as others in this thread in that the Cross Sell plugin is not appearing in my Catalog Menu. I tried the above instructions to add the plugin but received the following error. Error The language key entered has not been defined. Please check that it has been spelt correctly.

Can anyone offer any help with this?

I just installed this mod on one of my websites but the Cross Sell does not show up in the catalog drop down. I tried what was mentioned in page 2 of this discussion but it give me 2 errors as follows...

2. Error The filename definition entered does not exist. Please check that it has been spelt correctly

I typed everything in as stated in the Admin Page Registration but no luck so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running 1.50.

I am having the same problem:

I am using v1.5.1.

I have done all of the above including:

(includes/templates/aberdeen_neutral/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php) and still nothing shows up on the product page.

Hi there,

We installed your add-on & were excited to use it, & it's not working.

What do we need to do to make the template work, b/c copying the template files didn't work.

I was able to check off the products, but they don't show up anywhere near the main product.

And some of the instructions seem to be missing. We don't know what code to change.
