1.3.9h is so old that it WILL create more problems than not.
Take a look at https://www.zen-cart.com/entry.php?3...d-of-upgrading. It gives the steps to keep your site going while upgrading to the latest version.
Your main concern (and another reason for upgrading now) is your site's version of PHP. While both 1.3.9h and 1.5.5e (although designed for 5.5 and up) will work with PHP 5.2.10, you may wake up tomorrow to find that your host has moved on to a newer version that actually breaks your cart. PHP 5.5 has not been supported at all since July of 2016! 5.6 has had "Security Only" support since January 2107 and 7.0 will go into "Security Only" support in December. With only 7.# being supported currently, you can see why an upgrade needs to happen sooner than later.
Personally, I would wonder as to what else my host is so far behind on and the overall security of my site/data.
So.... Find out your current PHP settings. If your host provides cpanel, find out if they have the plugin to allow changing the PHP version. Then, check out the link and start the upgrade. So many mods have changed or dropped since 1.3.9h but you can start selling right out of the box. And, the database update will bring in your current data with no problem.
Best of all, you have the folks here at the forum to help along the way.
A little help with colors.

I just installed the new module into a 1.5.5a version, along with our heavily customized changes to handle our products, and it's working perfectly. I was happy to see Ajey's customizing section already included, as all I had to do was replace it with our extended version.

This actually is the final version I submitted for review. It cleans up the admin menu a bit more so you can tell the difference between the commercial first class pkg and retail first class pkg. It also changes the weight limit based on if you are using commercial pricing which allows 15oz or retail pricing which allows 13oz.
These were minor edits on my part just mostly name changes to fix the first class and a bit of restructuring in the first class section to accommodate price changes between commercial and retail and minor changes to the admin menu. If the K8 version was able to work with 3.9 zencart there is no reason this one shouldn't be able to work too being that the changes were minor but i am not able to test it in that version. You cant just drop the module files as that wont work. You would have to uninstall per the instructions included in the readme and reinstall in order to get the database table change.
After updating to the newest version I am still getting the warning that there is a newer version available. And before you ask, yes I uninstalled the old version, uploaded new files, and then installed it and added my specific options.
How do I remove this warning? I clearly have the newest version running.....
