USPS First Class not working

Since 8-31-17 the shipping module is not giving customers an option for First Class. Looks like USPS is playing with names again and probably broke the API. Ajeh, can you please take a look? Info about the change here: http://www.pitneybowes.com/us/postal-information/rate-change-info.html

Could you turn on your Logs in the USPS shipping module and Zip it then attach the file to your post?

I have cart that I was testing a while back in joomla and I just tested it and the USPS First Class is working.
So it feels like whatever is going on it's with the zen cart module.

Ok, found a work around, maybe even a solution. Switched from retail to online pricing AND from 1st-Class Parcel to 1st-Class Package Service COMM. ONLINE. That fixed 1st class, but of course dropped the shipping prices. So just bumped the handling fees up enough to offset the difference.

Hi,
Yes, it is not working for me either. It appears something has shifted. I have attached a screen shot of what my site reports for shipping prices. The site should report First Class and Priority small flat rate box. However it reports Priority small flat rate box and medium flat rate box. I will follow up with the log file.

See if this is working for you ...

I tried this update and it only shows first class if the module is set to online mode. When set to retail pricing the 1st class disappears.

Seems I've got the same issue that popped up a few days ago, although retail or online, with or without the patch I have no first class, V1.5.1.

I'm working on v1.5.1 - uploaded the new usps file (K10) but it will only show First Class if I select online pricing. No First Class will return when Retail pricing is selected.

Also, with the new file I have lost the show of transit times. I use CUSTOM, but it's not showing times with NEW or OLD.

I installed my original file (K8) and selected the online pricing and now First Class returns and I also have transit times back.

Thanks for trying to find a fix to the ever-changing USPS. I hope we can get the First Class package option back with the Retail pricing selected.

changing to online did not fix the problem in the cart. No one has reported the fix is working? Waiting to hear before I spend any more time on my client's behalf.

So the fix only works with online rates and not with retail. I went ahead and put the the mod in. So there's still issues. Is this going to be fixed or shall we wait until the next large USPS update? Just curious.

I'm gonna show my ignorance here... maybe it's the cataracts to be fixed in a couple of weeks... but

I didn't see any difference between the file in post #11 and the USPS plugin K8 (other than a date/version change)
