Images not changing

I had a "place holder" (a image that says Image Coming Soon!) so that all I had to do is delete and ftp the real images as I obtained them into the folder. Now, when trying to update the place holder to a real photo it will not show the updated image. Even though I have deleted the place holder....it still shows it.
I have cleared cache and rebooted computer (several times!) and still only shows the place holder.

I checked on my phone and it was showing the real image but then I found a better picture and wanted to change it and it will not change on my phone. Doesn't show the place holder but shows the first uploaded image instead of the better one.

Computer still showing "Image Coming Soon!" .....

HELP I have thousands of images to change and really need them to show!

Clearing the browser cache resolve your issue

Do you have a link to your site?
Is there some form of caching on the server?

Yes, that was my purpose for having place holders. All I would need to do is upload the image and overwrite the place holder image and not have to go one by one to add a photo.

I have cleared cache and rebooted several times since posting here....I share my laptop. I thought today when I signed in, all would have been "reset" and it would show properly. It doesn't.

lol... yes, but again... I can not and I don't know which pic you are seeing. I had uploaded one and then found a better one (these are really hard to photograph since they are soooo darn tiny)... and so I can see a pic on my phone, but its the first upload not the second one.

I'm going to go change the image to something completely different and see if it changes for you, ok??

I added it through Admin, editing the product and at the bottom of the page adding in the image. I had done the same to delete the image first. When I chose to view it, I get the same place holder image with text. I seriously need to be able to SEE what I'm doing even if the customer sees the correct image.
