Page editor path not the right path...

My page editor says:
Note: you should always edit the files located in your current template override directory, Example: /languages/english/html_includes/tableau

But then the editing is actually here:
languages/english/html_includes/

So in short, the store is serving up the pages located in
/languages/english/html_includes/tableau <-- note custom template

but when you go to edit it is pulling pages from
/languages/english/html_includes/define_about_us.php <default directory

Where can I change the path where the editor works from?

The associated file needs to exist in the override directory in order for the editor to edit that version of the file. Haven't checked recently but historically the same filename had to exist in the base fileset as well.

Would need to copy the file from the original location to the template override directory.
