I have a very small Fly Fishing Shop and want to check out customers using my ZenCart website. I see how I can create a shopping cart from the customer screen. The issue is getting products in the shopping cart. I think I could add the scan code to the product in the SBA and possibly use the search to find a product and add it to the shopping cart. I am not sure what the custom ID in the SBA is used for?

When I have a customer with several items that they are purchasing. I want to put them in the cart to then get payment. I can start the order but then I have to search each product to get them on the shopping cart. I want to scan for them using a bar code reader then put them in the cart using the product screen.
