Research has shown that a load more function is more effective than pagination like the default zen cart. This shouldn't be a hard task for a jquery coder which I am not. I have someone that can do this but he doesn't work for free.
Does anyone have a sample of how this can be done easily? I found a code that maybe standard but requires (of course) a css class to designate where to hide and show. As this will differ depending on the products per page required, I'm thinking the php code for pagination would need to be changed. But maybe not.
This would be similar to the lazy loader that I and another coder did in the past but that subsequent versions. That would load as you scrolled but it's now outdated in code and usage. Folks are used to hitting a button for the load more.
I want something compact and simple for this. Anyone ever look into this? I don't mind testing or providing a test 2.0.1 site. Or collecting payments to get my go to coder to do this.
