Trouble Uploading Images

The file name with spaces and a double extension was my first guess too, but so far changing the name does not seem to work. I hope to have a more thorough update tomorrow.

I was able to upload the images with copies of the files from the iPad using the Admin interface and Image Handler 5.3.4. I used file names like image01.jpeg, image02.jpeg, image03.jpeg Perhaps the spaces in the file names or the double file extension was the issue. At first glance I don't see anything relevant in the logs.

I was able to upload files with the following names using Image Handler 5.3.4 on my Linux box

'wheel brooch 2.jpg'
'wheel brooch 2.jpg.jpg'

I like the idea that the error had something to do with Linux or FTP and file names with spaces or double extensions but I can no longer reproduce the bug. Not sure if there are any other logs worth searching in case they record the past failures to upload.

If you use Filezilla to upload, look at the bottom at the Failed Transfers tab.

The failed uploads were with the Admin > Catalogue > Products/Categories tool and the Image Handler 5 plugin so ZC's internal logs seem like the best hope.

On one of the sites which I actually run I upload files over FTP using shell commands, but Zen Cart has a GUI.

As far as correcting spaces and double extensions, spacetornado Renamer is a god send.

Old, but will handle an entire directory and replace the extra .jpg, remove the spaces, and change the case (sometimes a problem as well) in one action.
