Template install

Unzipped the bootstrap template
Placed the bootstrap file folder in the includes/ templates directory, renamed the admin file to the admin folder in the root but the template won't show up when selecting a template. I did research but there seems to be some conflicting and unclear instructions.
Is there a good instruction for doing this anywhere ?

I think we all need a bit more information.

As per your other thread, did you get zen cart 2.0.1 installed successfully prior to attempting the bootstrap template?

You should have a file called

includes/templates/bootstrap/template_info.php

do you?

I unzipped ZCA-Bootstrap-Template-3.7.4.zip
So now i have a folder called ZCA-Bootstrap-Template-3.7.4, i renamed the admin file to my admin folder name.
My question, do i upload that entire folder to root/includes/templates ? i need to know where to upload the file to.
And yes there is a file called template_info.php in
ZCA-Bootstrap-Template-3.7.4/includes/templates/bootstrap/

Upload the *contents* of ZCA-Bootstrap-Template-3.7.4 to the root of your shop.

So the file

ZCA-Bootstrap-Template-3.7.4/includes/templates/bootstrap/template_info.php

should land in

includes/templates/bootstrap/template_info.php

in your shop.

Also please remember 2.1.0 is for evaluation/testing only - NOT for production deployment yet until it is formally released (which we'd like to do this soon).
