Unable to Import DB into 2X

After months of procrastination I’m revisiting this to upgrade the site.

I’ve revisited the docs and importing DB backup from previous version breaks the new fresh 2.x.x site. How to go forward?

I’m not thrilled about copying and pasting 500+ items. Need some adult supervision here Thanks.

Depending on your older version...

load 2.2.2 and create a database.

Backup everything

delete created 2.2.2 database and replace with the old DB

run zc_install and do the upgrade option.

Already tried that with the alpha 2.0 version back in December. Still doesn’t work no matter how I try. See above.

Got it after second try with Install. Strange the was only a clean install option this morning. Maybe I just didn’t wait long enough for the server to resolve. Onward and upward.
