"header boxes" missing in the layout controller

Version 2.2.1

Somehow during upgrade we lost the search in the header bar. Trying to add it back in via layout box controller but for some reason the "header boxes" section is missing. We have only "active left and right columns boxes" visible.

Any idea how to add the missing "header boxes" back into the layout box controller?

The header-boxes files' names need to start with header_, for example /includes/modules/sideboxes/header_search.php, to be considered as valid for the header content.

Thank you for your response, but we are only showing the "Main-Page Boxes" in the layout box controller. We are not seeing the "Header Boxes" in our layout box controller. We have attached a screenshot of our layout box controller. Any suggestions on how to add the "Header Boxes" to our layout box controller.

That image didn't come through (for me, at least). I'll suggest that you take a look at your site's file-system (/includes/modules/sideboxes) and see if there are any files that start with header_ with a file-extension of .php. If there are none, that explains why nothing is displayed.

Or it can be a partial blank page and, in this case, you should have a debug log file in your log folder that you can post here and will tell us the problem's origin.

We are attaching the screenshot again, hopefully its visible to you.

The file search_header.php is located in our (/includes/modules/sideboxes) directory. Could not find any files starting with header_. When we use responsive classic template the search bar shows up in the header bar and the "header boxes" is in the layout box controller. When we switch to our template, search bar does not show up nor does "header boxes" in the layout controller.
Not sure how we managed to remove the "header boxes" from layout controller in our template.

We obviously have something configured wrong in our template. Any other ideas where we can look?

Noting that I've got this bass-ackwards, it's a file named search_header.php that contains the header-search "sidebox".

@lsde, what template are you using?

They are using a clone of RC. It is the same when dropping back to RC.

Figuring it's probably a file load error, I have been going file by file, but found nothing of consequence yet.
