POSM - How to set product for POSM tracking

I've added a product with attributes to a catalog and want POSM to track the product variants. When I go to admin/Catalog/Manage Options' Stock and select the category and click Go, only one product with attributes in that category is displayed and I don't want that product tracked. None of the other products with attributes are shown in the dropdown, including others tracked by POSM and the one I just entered and set attributes in the attributes controller. What am I doing wrong?

POSM's main tool doesn't show disabled products initially; you have to tick the "Show disabled" block for that to happen ... is this what happened?

I selected the category in the dropdown menu and clicked Go. Just below that was the message: No products with manageable options are present in the selected category. I clicked the Include disabled button and then Go. The product dropdown appeared with the product I don't want to include. None of the other products that are tracked by POSM were in the product dropdown, even though they are in the products_options_stock table, see sample from one product from the category attached. The product-related tables for the products not showing up in the dropdown were copied from another store's database. Could that cause the problem?

One additional item: there is no blue square between Status and Quantity on the category product listing page for the product I want to manage with POSM, but is present for the other managed products. Yet those same products are not in the products dropdown on the manage options' stock page.

Check your POSM configuration for the option types (e.g. select and radio) to be managed as well as the list of option types that aren't (all others).
