using htaccess and turning register globals ON

you cannot use an arbitrary file type or format. It must be a tab delimited file, and in the format Easy Populate requires. For more information, read the readme.txt file.

Help tring to get Easy Populate v1.2.5.4 I have been to the modhole and have tried to download but the link is not working and it isn't on the forum anywhere.
Any Idea's

I have installed EZpopulate Standard with my 1.3.7 store and I am able to download the complete data that I imported using admin, however I am unable to upload anything to the DB. I get a 406 error that says: "Not Acceptable: An appropriate representation of the requested resource /~hotnbott/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php could not be found on this server." I checked to make sure the file was uploaded in the file manager and It is there. What could be causing this problem?

how are you?

i sent you an e-mail to the e-mail provided in the txt files in the EP zip file, i hope that you got it because i'm really in need of your help...

i used your EP version, the last one, bug free installation, i installed it in the first time, and i generated the text files, i used the complete one, and then i finished the text i should fill as required, then i uploaded it, i had above 2500 items, it uploaded them, but with one problem is that it missed to insert the picture's name ***.jpg into the product info, so i had many products without pictures, and the rest of information were complete and fine...

i tried to upload the file again and again, but i had some internet problems, and it created some input problems, but i restored my sql backup and its ok...
later on i tried to upload it again, but i face another problem which is new for me

i can't get it, i used the split utility and i splited the file, it gave me 9 files, its ok, i used the first one but with the same result, i tried to uninstall the plugin, but it keeps telling me that the configuration is missed and i need to click here to reinstall them , i reclick and i install them again but no same problems, i reinstalled the whole site with the sql, and then installed the plugin again, but with the same result....!!!???


if you want to log in into my site please help me with it, you will see the files for me in the /temp folder, all the images fopr the products were uploaded into the images directory and ready to be use... what to do

hi,

i am trying to install ep 2.5.4 on my shop and facing some problems.
I uploaded the files in the as told and tried to install ep from admin menue.
i first of all get the following error:
EASYPOPULATE_MSGSTACK_INSTALL_KEYS_FAIL
EASYPOPULATE_MSGSTACK_DROSS_DETECTED

manual install (sql-file) also doesn´t work. I tried to download files by clicking the appearing links (e.g. "Download Complete tab-delimited .txt file to edit "). First something is downloaded, but when i try to open the downloaded text (here: FullEP2006....txt), i am told, that this file doesn´t exist.

i have permissions set to 777 in folder shop/temp.
I must say that i had installed other old ep-versions but had them not properly running. The files were overwritten when uploading the files of versipn 2.5.4.

Hope anyone can help quickly, otherwise i am going to insert over 300 products by hand (believe me, i want to avoid this :-)...).

if you are using any language other than english in admin, you will need to copy to teh new language all of the files in the language dependent folder. See how it goes after this.
