    I love the fact that they figured out a way to tell people how much stock you have left. (Look at the add to cart button.

    Gonna have to fix around the Info_Product_Display Though. Looks horrible.

    For some odd reason I am now losing my Left bar of my Main Page.

    That's nothing to do with Stock by Attributes for which this is the support thread. You're using the latest version of StockAttribute. Here's my assessment of it from earlier in this thread.

    Unfortunately it appears that nobody is supporting that mod, and having spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the earlier version that developed into Stock by Attributes, I'm afraid you're in for a bit of a rough ride with this fork - though your immediate problem can be resolved by doing a merge between your functions_lookups.php and the one in the 1.3.8a Zen Cart distribution pack.

    a little off topic, but do you know if there is a downloadable mod for this?

    You can find it in the downloads section, but please don't hijack this support thread to discuss its problems.

    Hey ppl,
    I'm going nucking futs trying to get this clothing store up and running. Obviously as it's clothing there are a lot of variants. I *think* my problem is user-error judging from this thread, but I have no idea where I messed up.

    I have zen-cart-v138a vanilla install and stock_by_attributes_4-7MULTIADD. Firstly there seems to be discrepencies between the instructions and the delivered files:

    Rename "includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE" where in my unzipped download I only had includes/modules/pages.

    I bring this up as it was confusing and perhaps is part of my trouble. To install I dropped the "pages" folder into "includes/modules/MY_TEMPLATE".

    Admin panels are there and I can alter the stock count. The problem I am facing is in the shopping cart. It's effectively not working. eg

    Red = 1 in stock
    Blue = 2 in stock

    It gives me the "out of stock" protocol if I ask for 4 of either but doesn't seem to register the attribute stock that I have indicated in the "Products with attributes stock" admin page - I can proceed to order 2 or 3 Reds.

    I have a feeling i might have to ##############ise categories into sizes and colours to get this to my client - going to be messy

    Thanks in advance for any help. No url atm as I'm just trying to solve my problems in an xampp install.

    Ok for starters putting "page" into includes/modules/MY_TEMPLATE is a bad idea - I overwrote the core files in "pages" with the ones from the plug-in and now the backend attributes/stock table has background colour. Unfortunately hasn't solved the ordering issues

    So maybe that part of the instructions is an artefact from a previous version? http://www.nectarina.co.uk/readme.html

    I'm going to try copying all the files again... Be soooooooooo good if just the one plug-in would work for me.

    Ok I tried installing a test site on the actual server and installed this plug-in and now it seems to work - guess I missed something on the local install.

    There is still one issue though and I'm not sure if this is just the way it is or if there is some option I need to tweak: although the customer is notified that the particular item (with an attribute) is out of stock they are still able to proceed with the checkout. I do get "Please change the quantity of products marked with (***). Thank you" instead of the back order notice.

    I have changed (in Configure/Stock) "Show Sold Out Image in place of Add to Cart" to on and "Allow Checkout" to false but seems that the checkout button is still there. I have tested this on a test product without any attributes and seems the same Is this just an issue with Zen Cart itself?

    Seems it just wants a person to login then the "go to checkout" botton doesn't lead anywhere. Doesn't seem to show how much stock is available for a product in the shopping cart though - particularly annoying for customers who then have to incrementally guess how much is there. I thought I saw something about this somewhere in the forums... might see if i can find it

    I've found that the stock doesn't dynamically update (with dynamic stock updates) when I run into this problem trying to add multiple stocks at once-

    ex. add 'all' colors in size 38 with a qt of 6-

    here's the warning I get

    Code:
    att: 28|27|29,30,84

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/jalansty/public_html/shop/admin/products_with_attributes_stock.php:193) in /home/jalansty/public_html/shop/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 21
    Can somebody help me with this?

    Thanks.
