Unfortunately I've yet to fix that specific quirk. However, it doesn't impede my use of the module (except as an inconvenience) because once it kicks me back to the login and I log in again, I am then able to view sessions normally until the next time I log out. I don't know what causes this glitch but I do know, after reading through the forums on this and other modules, that I am not the only one to experience it and that it isn't unique to this module.
Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
Tim
Tim,
Thanks for your reply. With me, I am not able to view them. Once it kicks me out to the login, I re-login and then go back to the view sessions and when I click on it, it sends me to the login screen again. I'm in a continous never-ending loop...![]()
I can view all other areas of the admin, just can't view the sessions..![]()
Thanks,
Mr. Godiva
I don't know if this plays into it, but in the User Tracker Config I have User Tracking (ADMIN) and User Tracking (HostLookup) both set to false. (Primarily because it speeds response time)
If your settings are different you might want to give this a try.
Good luck!
Tim
Tim,
Mine was still at default (turned on). I tried what you said and I still have the same problem. Everytime I click on "view session" it sends me to the log in screen. I log in and it sends me to the index page of admin. I go back into user tracking and click on view session and back to log in......![]()
Thanks,
Mr. Godiva
That is frustrating. You probably have already done this, but the only other thing I can think of is to run back through installation to be certain everything is there and in it's proper place. (keeping in mind the over-ride system)
Most importantly, I would check to be certain that the file modification(s) are in place (From the ReadMe...add the following to the end of /includes/templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/common/tpl_footer.php and/or ...add the following to the end of /admin/includes/footer.php)
I only have the /includes/templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/common/tpl_footer.php installed.
Again, best of luck
Tim

This just thinking out loud,
but I was wondering if we can put a Bookmark this Site so that the zenid is not recorded. I'm not sure if visiters would use it over other habits. The zenid appears to be involved in repeat visiters making the tracking a little hard to figure.
Has someone tried this with any success? and if so, how did you sit it up?
Then again, if the timestamps were also dated it would be better the way it is, that is, seeing a history "and" their recent visit.

Hi,
Anyone used User Track Module with Admin Profiles Module ?
This, because I cannot set the admin-permissions for the user tracking module![]()

Hi,
Is it just me, or are other people also getting 'Page 2' for the title for EZPages, rather than the actual title.
Thanks
Alan
Beginning with Admin Profiles 1.04 Kuroi provided both a box file and a sql patch to workaround the User Tracking menu issues (a brief mention is in the Admin Profiles readme).
I just installed both Admin Profiles 1.06 and most recent User Tracking (08-30-06) on Zen Cart 1.36. The box file and sql patch seemed to fix it so 'User Tracking Config' shows up in the "Tools" menu. But now being a little more observant I see the 'User Tracking Config' menu entry disappears when I select another menu other than the "Tools" menu. However when I select another item from the "Tools" menu then 'User Tracking Config' reappears on the Tools menu. Now you see it. Now you don't.
I had the impression that 'User Tracking Config' was suppose to appear in the "Configuration" menu? On previous Zen Cart versions it did.
The mystery continues...
