Need help with the Admin - Urgent!

I was working on the backend Admin part of my site yesterday and as I was adding some items, this message came up:

1062 Duplicate entry '32767' for key 1

I am beside myself as I the whole backend is gone! I can't access anything. Can anyone help and is anyone else experiencing this?

In the navigation bar above is 'search'. Put your error code in the box on the upper left, click go - you should find lots of threads in the archives with help.

It's just ... so strange that I could find the results in matter of secs with the forum's search engine.

Well, thank you. A search brought up no results for ME. I don't know why everyone is always so rude around here. It's not very becoming, welcoming or appreciated, especially from people who know very little about this system. Maybe you should go take a look at the OS Commerce boards and see how they treat each other over there.

Normally, I would agree here. However, you must consider that this error message was already reported several times in the past as several posts were returned when using the forum's search engine. Spending a little more time in the search engine's result page would not hurt anyone. :tup.

Be that as it may, maybe you could consider how shocked I feel when I see my whole backend gone and then coming here for answers and just sort of being brushed off.

I am not a web designer nor am I proficient in HTML. I am just looking for laymen's terms on how I can remedy my admin situation.

As an aside, upgrading to v1.3.0.1 will not only fix this problem but also give you tools in Admin->Tools->Store Manager to purge your admin activity log which obviously now has a lot of data in it.
