Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your contribution. I downloaded v 1.3.14. Before installing, I would like to clarify few things:
In your readme.txt, you stated
1. Googleanalytics.sql is not included in your download. Where do I get this googleanalytics.sql?2. Go to Admin->Tools->Install SQL Patches and install install.sql.
Copying SQL code from googleanalytics.sql file (using a text editor) and paste into form in your shops
admin at Tools > Install SQL patches (copy & paste, don't upload!!!).
or
Copy install_googlesitemap.php to the admin directory, start it, select Install and press GO button.
2. You made install.sql fix in the version. I don't see the same fix in your install_googlesitemap.php. Am I missing something here?
3. You have update_1_3_14.sql in the directory. What is this for?
I would like to understand every single steps before I change my db.![]()
Hi,

If so does it work ....
Hi,
I have carefully read this forum and come to understand that the contribution submits to yahoo site explorer amung others.
Now when I go to yahoo site explorer I still see the submission date as the date I had submitted originally, so I actually have no idea if the submit has worked and everything is set up as it should be..
Can anyone tell me how to confirm that my site map is successfully being submitted to yahoo site explorer?
Its easy with google, because google indexes within a few days so I know that things are working. But not sure with yahoo...
Hello,
I had zencart 1.3.6 installed and was running google sitemap admin 1.2.
I think this is the version number, that's what it says in the googlesitemap.php header. It also says "@copyright Copyright 2005, Bobby Easland". So i'm not sure.
So now I have just upgraded to Zencart 1.3.8 and downloaded google sitemap v 1.3.15 and not sure what I should do to implement the upgrade. I did a clean install of Zencart 1.3.8, so none of the site files are installed from the old version. However, my db still has whatever was put in by the original googlesitemap SQL file.
Please help.
Thanks
DD
Sorry,
Yes I upgraded my db to 1.3.8, but all of the php files were the new ones. I looked in the db and the google files are still in there. I was able to find the old sql file.
I have attached what was installed originally:
Whicle looking through all the sql files in the new google package. I noticed that there were lines for additional pages in update_1_3_14.sql, that the new full install.sql did't have.
How should I proceed ?
Thanks Again
Delete update_1_3_14.sql and forget about it. It's my error![]()
I am getting this error.
I have changed my Permission to 755 and 777 on the xml files and I also use admin profiles.
I anot able to configure the Google XML Sitemap in configuration.
