I'm wondering much the same thing. I see the Cross Sell Advanced allows you to type in a product ID, but is there anyway to sort other than Prod ID?

I have installed zen cart 1.3.6 and cross sell 1.3.0.1 or 1.3 dont know for sure. The problem wich occured recently is that it doesnt show any cross sell products on product info page, but i dont know a couple of weeks it worked fine and there was no changes to any files, only admin changes of adding a product and changing cross sell items.
Any one has any idea?

I have just tried installing Cross Sell 1.3.1 and get an error when installing the SQL patch..

For anyone else having the same problem I managed to cure it by running the SQL statements one at a time, and without the comments, rather running than the complete file in one go.

I installed the Cross Sell mod today, but it doesn't appear to be working. The entries from the sql patch all seem to have shown up. But, there is nothing in the sql patch that creates a way for me to actually setup the products I want to cross sell.

The instructions say this should be found under Admin-Catalog-Cross Sell Products.
But, there is no Admin-Catalog-Cross Sell Products!?!?!!

Nevermind. I can't believe I made such a silly mistake! :) I uploaded the files to the wrong directory. :)

I installed Cross Sell 1.3.0 and Cross Sell Advanced and all is working fine. Everything OK in Admin and no error messages.
My problem is that my "We Also Recommend" is showing up in my 'Right Side Box.
To my knowledge there is no Layout Box Controller settings to cause this to show in the 'Right Sidebox'.

I am using 1.3.7 with Apple-zen template and CSS_Flyout_Header 1.5.

I am using image handler along with cross sell. Right now my additional images appear below my cross sell box, and I would like it to appear above the box. I'm not sure which files of which plug-in I need to alter, so I'm asking on both support threads. Thanks.

You can edit your tpl_product_info_display.php file to move where the cross sell box displays.

I've been using cross sell for awhile now, however I had direct checkout system so it never actually worked in the way it was meant to meaning, it would never really show the products people purchase but only the products i added manually to show. THe problem is now that my checkout system is working fine at the shopping cart page it shows we recommend, and what others have purchased now.

I tried removing the line

"<?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . zen_get_module_directory(FILENAME_CART_UPSELL)); ?>"

but it removes we recommend as well as what others have purchased, how do i remove just what others have purchased?
