getting rid of City and Zip Code

Hey Zen Cart Masters,

I will be using my site to do local deliveries for dorms around my college campus. So the zip code, city , and state fields are really unneccessary. Is there any way i can get rid of them? Or automatically put in default values for these fields?

I'd like to know this too I know how to get rid of the fields themselves, but now when I try to create an account, it's giving red error messages at the top because those fields are required, I need to know how to make them not required.

How did you get rid of the fields? I know by setting the minimum values under admin to zero or nothing may get rid of the requirements.

To get rid of the fields you just need to delete any related code from tpl_login_default.php and tpl_create_account_default.php.

Have a look at jscript_form_check.php in the folder

includes/modules/pages/create_account/jscript_form_check.php

This looks as if it is a javascript to check the table fields, haven't done this myself but give it a go?
