Q. no1 - Is it posible to use % for defining the new prices.
Q. no2 - I have 1000 products and are wondering how to implement DualPricing. I need this mod because the wholesale price is not the same for all the products. What is the best way to implement this mod? Takes a long time to go into each product and set up the new prices.
Q. no3 - Does anyone have experience with this mod and EasyPoppulate?
1 - nope
2 - once installed you could download the products table using phpmyadmin, open it in excel add your prices then reinsert the table.
3 - never used it
first off, many thanks for the awesome mod! it's pretty slick, i must say.
though, i do have a bit of a problem i'm stumped with.
i'm pretty sure all the files are in their proper places, and i've run the DB update. (using zen 1.3.x and Dual Price 1.3)
i've entered in a wholesaler price (just one), and login as a respective wholesaler customer. the price shows up correctly when i see the item, before putting it into my shopping cart.
after doing that, though, the price goes back to retail (anything that is in the cart). i've double checked /includes/classes/shopping_cart.php and /includes/functions/functions_prices.php to make sure that they are there and have the wholesaler code in them. i'm sort of at a loss.
we were using the catalog>products price manager. that seems to be overwriting the values when it hits shopping_cart, though that's a guess at the moment. we had it configured to give a discount based on amount, so if a customer ordered 1 item price = retail, if 11 items price = cheaper. you get the idea.
i'll try taking a closer look at shopping_cart.php/functions.php and mebbe see where that products price manager is doing its magic. for now though, we'll just have to hose the discounts for users that order tons of stuff. *wry grin*
if i find it, i'll let ya know, though in a race i think you'd win. *grin*
Thanks for this mod - I installed it, did the SQL patch, and when I add an item to my cart (any item, with or without wholesale pricing) I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: actionmultipleaddproduct() in [my directory]\main_cart_actions.php on line 54
Any ideas? I used the 1.5 from the previous thread.

remind me which version you are using. I did add the code for pre 1.3 versions but took it out.
It should be too much work to put it back if memory serves.

The dual pricing works great on items with wholesale prices. Unfortunately, now anything with attributes has NO prices unless someone is signed in. Because there are significant price differences between attributes, ( 100s of dollars) it is really important that they see the prices before going through the trouble of logging in.
Hi Chrome, I had posted back in the old thread before the boards got rebuilt about adding the ability to limit items based on the login for wholesale pricing. I've just uploaded the pre 1.3 version of Dual Pricing but whenever I try to go to the checkout page I'm just getting a blank page. Also, if I'm logged in then the shopping cart sidebox is missing.

I have already posted about this in previous forums for this mod, and have not had an answer.

will this mod work with profit markup calculator, i noticed that he also has changes in the same files, which i imagen need to be merged together in order for this to work...
also where is some documentaion on how this works? there is not much info inside the readme file
Ive set up my cart and this mod sucessfully. Now before I start adding
alot of product I would like some suggestions on how I should use attributes
sucessfully.
Im selling fencing and would like to have a main product with height of fence
as the attributes. eg 3' 4' 5' 6". Im not sure how or if the pricing and wholesale
would work correctly.
Should I just make each height a seperate product
to simplify things?
Or could there be a better way?
I don't currently have a need for this mod, BUT I had (what I thought) was a great idea for it. The other day, I saw a demo website that had a dropdown menu that allowed the user to toggle between zencart templates. This feature could be used with this mod, so that when somebody logs into their wholesale account, it automatically switches to template #2 which could have a slightly different layout targeting their wholesale customers (different sideboxes displayed, different FAQ section, different language files). It would be like having two completely different websites in 1! Wholesale and Retail.
I've just installed this on 1.3.0.2 and get the following errors

any ideas,checked the folders of the install and there are no such files in this version of ZC
