Hi, i'm just register to site to submit you my proposal for a new handling system for the product types engine.

I don't know if this the correct forum to post in. If I've mistaken sorry to mods!

Now i tell you about my idea.

First fields and product types are hendled separately. The users add the fields to the system (that saves them in db) and than associates them to the product types (also saved in the db). So each common field doesn't saved a lot of time in the db. The product types can be hierarchical. So i can create a general personalized product type, after i can create the particular product types with additional fields.

This is the summary of my idea. If you are interested i can prepare a detailed description of the system and I could also help ypu to implement it in the software (I now very much PHP, a little less English ). I aspect ypur news! Bye!
