Tracking Shipments

I am using UPS module for shipping my products. is there a way that the customer can receive an e-mail with a tracking number to see the status of there order in transit.

[FONT=Times New Roman]On UPS web site after your complete your shipping, go to that customer in shipping/shipping history/ check the box next to the customer name and click on Track[/FONT]

Well i gues there isn't a mod that does it for you so i have can up with another way of doing it. If you have a bar code reader connect to your computer you can scanner the ups label to get the traking number. All you have to do is in the page where you update the customers order you click in the comment area enter a comment to your customer says this is you tracking number and then provide then with a link to ups website and let them track it. i guess for now that the best way of doing it.

First sorry for not responding earlier I only install it today , and it is sure the best I fund up to now,

Hello Zinners,

i install that mod and the only issue i have with it is that at the bottom it says Fedex. I use UPS and if i was to use this mod it may confuse my customers. i searched in the code to see if i was able to change it so that it would say UPS but had no luck.

Any thought as where i may find it in the code so i could change it?

I use the UPS part of it but didn't want to add the number each time I went to look one up, so I added this link to the UPS section of the module. Admin > Configuration > Ty Package Tracker > Carrier 2 Tracking Link
