country is truncated when selected

Can anyone point me in the right direction.
On the create account page, the country drop down shows full countries but once i select, the country is truncated to 10 characters.

Here you go, Mate! Worked fine for me.

I purposely used a Country with a long name to see if it was just shortening the name.

What does it look like in the Admin?

Yes the countries come up correctly everywhere, but my point is this....
Once you SELECT the country, it is truncated in the country field box...
was this the case with you?...i'm using firefox

Just tested with Explorer 6 and its fine....Also fine with Safari...
The funny thing is i have another site and do not have this prob in firefox..only

I've diffd functions, modules and templates...all pretty well identical...must be some setting in firefox..weird
