Attribute Pricing Problem

I am hoping I can explain this problem properly. I have set up attribute pricing on my website. The problem I am having is that at the lowest quantity level with no discounts applied the site is taking the base pricing and doubling it. It says in the PRICE MANAGER and in the ITEM itself that

*Display price will include lowest group attributes prices plus price

I know this is causing it but if I set this to NO then my discounts don't work.

Is there any war around this. I have the cost of the product as $0.00 and the attributes add all the pricing.

Are you selecting "Priced by attributes" in the product entry screen?

Priced by Attributes is set to YES. After it in red I get

*Display price will include lowest group attributes prices plus price

So then in the attribute controller at the far left there is a box with a "+" and one for "Price"
Remove the "+" and is the price box where you are entering the price?

Yes the plus is there and yes I am entering in the"price" box

You have got something crossed up as it states starting at 0.0550
But choosing coated one side at 0.005 and 4/0 color front only at 0.045 = 0.050

The default attributes are 14pt stcock ($0.01) and 4/0 ink ($0.045). That is where the $0.055 is coming from
