zen-cart.com website uses less tables

The right column on the Zen-cart.com website has less tables than the a default installation of zen-cart.

In fact there seems to be a lot less tables, I know this is down to the template.

Can anyone tell me what steps or contribs/mods where used to make the zen-cart.com template look the way it looks?

only 1 template that isnt wrapped around tabular data

So why is the new zen-cart 1.3 default classic template got loads of tables like zen-cart 1.2.7?

Look at the template_default files instead of the classic template.

the classic template is there for backwards compatibility.

So what you are saying is default installation uses the classic template. The classic uses many tables like the templates in 1.2.6.

If needed you can make your own template and remove many tables.

open includes/templates and delete the classic folder

Now you see the default template, sit down its UGLYYYYYYYYYYYYY but its dne to show versitality.

now using copies of the default temolate css you can create your own template
