Moving from testing server to "live" need help w/database

Hi,

I'm really really sorry if this has been asked & answered a million times already. I've always tried to make sure I comb through the faq'a and searched the posts before making a new thread, but I've found nothing anywhere that helps me, even though some topics are similar.

I've been testing the new zc on my testing server (localhost) and I'd like to go "live" with it now. I've upladed all of the files to my server and made the path changes in both of the configure.php files. The only thing left that I can think of is moving the database, which I've TRIED to do for the past 6 and a half hours. I'm NOT kidding, it's been at least that long that I've been sitting here stressing out of just the phpmyadmin part of this. UGH! Can anybody offer tips in as non-technical of terms as you possibly can that will help me to backup/restore my database? My eyes are bulging and my head is throbbing from getting so aggravated over spinning my wheels & not getting anywhere.

I've tried exporting my db in every offered format, saving to my desktop, then opening in notepad and doing the find/replace on latin1 to MyIsan, plus I've changed the seperator from a semicolon to a comma. I still get errors every single time I try and import from the "live" end. Syntax errors, of course. I just don't know what else to try and I'm regretting even testing this thing out on a local server in the first place. I had no idea it would be this difficult to move it later.

And I'm sorry if I've got typos in here. I can't see what I'm typing because the text is so small, and my eyeballs are already strained to their max. Thanks in advance for anybody who is kind enough to take the time and read this/try to help me out. I really appreciate ANYTHING at this point, lol.
