Idevaffiliates Tier system

Hi Guys sorry to ask this here but I can get no reply from the idev help desk regarding the setting up of the Tier system; hope that someone can help. I purchased it on behalf of a client through the Link here.

Sorry to post again on this topic guys; but I really need to find the answer to this as the client is seriouly considering dumping idev because of lack of support.
I know Merlin is a big fan and long term user and wondered if he could shed some light for me please?

How to set tier commissions,

or how to get users to setup tier 2 accounts

The tier 2 accounts seem to be the main bone of contention.
so thats all I really need atm please.

idevaffiliate only handles up to 2 tiers. If this is still an issue for you call idevdirect on their newly published support number.

Note that if you are paying affiliates with PayPal, then be careful as PayPal does not allow 2-tier affiliate programs. I think someone at Paypal had a bad experience with Amway and now lump any tier beyond 1 into MLM schemes, which they must assume are evil.

Hi Folks,
I am responding to the Idev affiliate tier question. Also I use Paypal with my Idev affiliate and it is no problem.
I was able to get my tier structure just fine, and I'm just a dumb old Texas country Boy.
Here is the problem you really have. Idevaffiliate will not work with the latest Zencart version 1.3.5.
The code for the checkout success page is not what is referred to in the Idev documentation.
I was told by the owner of Idev that a fix for this problem is 1-2 months away, if then.
So tiers are a snap, but the checkout page is not going to record sales until they (Idev) get new code.
My web guy is working on a fix himself. I can't wait 2 months for something that is advertised as working with Zencart.
My site is www.saratoga-supplements.com. the affiliate signup is in the lower left corner. I love the program, we just have to get Idev to move on this problem.

why bother with it, there is an alternative solution that works just as well ( better for the most part ) and is ready to go right now

And that software that's ready right now would be.....? What. Where. I would love to get Idev straightened out, but I would consider an alternative. Just what alternative exactly do you speak of.

I just installed the nffiliate program and it is like going from a scooter to a mercedes so far. I am anandoning Idev affiliate. Support is TO important to be left hanging in the balance. Thans Again.
