i am just trying to install the zen-cart system in my computer, got some problems with the "changing floder Properties", could anyone tell me how to change it? and what does 777 means, thank you.

Permission 777 tells the server what people can do to the files... read write or edit... I use WS_FTP for all my ftp needs and it is really easy to edit the permissions of files... just right click and then properties!
