How to get each product in individual box - using columnar layout

Does anyone know what I would need to change to get each product in it's own box? I have the column grid mod installed and have it set to two columns, but each row just shows in one big box. You can see here: http://www.greekgoodiez.com/index.php. I want them to be seperate, i.e. you would be able to see the background in between the two product boxes.

Any ideas?

View in firefox with developer tools and you will see that they are in 2 boxes of equal size that take up the entire centre column, (not the image boxes), this is how this works. It divides the available space evenly between the number of columns.
Therefore there is no background to see, however you could put a border around each box but it is probably not the effect that you want.

You could perhaps put a margin as well as a border around each box; then background would show between boxes...

I don't know if this would mess with the layout, i.e. take up more than 100% of the available space and cause wrapping.

I'm working on this at the moment. I basically gave the style

.centerBoxContentsProducts

border details and if you apply a small margin you will get spacing between giving the impression of each product being in their own box
