top banner and IE problem

Hi

I have almost finished a shop for a client and have run into a little problem during testing.

I have created an animated banner that sits underneath the main header graphic for the shop.

In Firefox with the banner in place, you can resize the browser window and everything resizes correctly down to 800 pixels wide.

In IE, however, the resizing doesn't happen messing up the layouts.

I have disabled the banner and when this is done everything functions correctly in IE.

I'm stumped and hope you all can help...
