I have it installed but turned it off. It works perfectly for me except for the email problem when using reserve price. Without reserve price it does not fit our need at this time. If you want to see it I can turn it on for you and set up a test item. It would be great to get it working correctly. I'm good at finding problems but I don't know how to fix the email error and the aution mod developers seem to have gone away.

another problem you have is you can outbid yourself, it doesn't hold your highest bid until needed (should the mod do this) like ebay does.

Would also be good if on the "your account" screen it showed what auctions you are bidding on and the status. Perhaps even a sidebox, so that when logged in the sidebox shows auction status.

    Looking into it...

Being able to outbid yourself is part of not having the proxy bid feature. Whatever amount you bid is the bid amount. Since this is more like a real live auction, it can still work. but it will confuse bidders that are familiar with ebay.

Another problem is you can bid only .01 higher and become the high bidder. There should be a way to set bid minimum increments.

The side box is an excellent idea.

I hope you can get the bugs worked out!

    I am using ZC 1.2.7d with auction_product_type_v0_95_12x

When I click add to cart before actually opening the auction page I get this error:

    Re: Auction Mod

    Hi,

When I convert a product to auction...it gives me this error message...

    UPDATE zen_products SET products_type = 6 WHERE products_id = 2INSERT INTO product_auction_extra (products_id) VALUES (2)
    1146 Table 'bet_zc1.product_auction_extra' doesn't exist
    in:
    [INSERT INTO product_auction_extra (products_id) VALUES (2)]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I am using zen cart 1.3.0.2

    Can anyone help me?

    Thank you.

    Hi
I also have no Buy now button, can you tell me how you fixed it. Where do i need to edit.

Is there a way to make the bid price including VAT. as now when someone bids it adds VAT and thus they bid 5 and it says 5 + VAT%. Bit confusing for customers no?

Is there a way to copy an item from the normal store and link it to auction or at least copy it and then make it an Auction category.

    plse Help

    Thanks

Rather confusing. I see there is a Buy Now Button .gif file. the switch that should turn this on in the admin panel works as it shows the Buy now price, but not the Buy Now "button" can anyone plse tell me how to rectify this.

    Thanks

    Hi all

I've installed this mod to my testing site on my PC. so far not too bad, but I can't try the email functions though cos it is installed on my PC and running through EasyPHP, no emails are sent..

I noticed one thing, when I try to Add Product where Product-Auction type is selected, when I reach the product creation page, I saw "Invalid Master Category ID" at the Product Master Category field. If I create a normal Product - General, there will be a number assigned to it and no such error message.

However, it still allow me to add in this product and the product does appear on my website for bidding. But at the product info page, I don't see the usual line talking about when this product is added to the catalog and when this auction is going to expire (small text at the bottom of the page). Strange thing is, these two lines are visible at the Product Preview page during the product creation step in the admin function.

Anyone encounter the same thing? any solution?

    thanks!
