Our ZenCart version is 1.2.4 and the AustPost version is 2.0.2.

    Thanks and regards
I'm guessing that the user account that you are logging in with has spaces in the postcode/zipcode in the delivery address. You can either remove the spaces in the database, or upgrade to Austpost v2.1.3

If there is no urgency to fix this you may want to wait another day or two and the latest 'ozpost' module will be made available (the current 'ozpost' module (that supercedes 'AustPost' has a couple of issues of its own).

    Cheers

Yes...a thousand thank you's...such a simple solution, I thought I had a more complex issue on my hands.

Will the new version of OzPost work with my version of ZenCart? Version 1.2.4? Have been meaning to upgrade it for a couple of years now, but every time I read the forums about people's experiences it puts me off? ;-)

    Thanks again.

Some of the complex issues really do have simple solutions.
Conversely, some of the simple issues can often be very difficult to solve.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't.
The best way to find out is to try it, and you can do that without even disabling or removing the current AustPost module that you are using. Although somewhat pointless (other than for testing/checking) both modules can be installed (and enabled) at the same time.

Keep in mind that what you read in the forums comes from people that have had problems (the minority). There will be many times more of us that have performed upgrades with no problems at all.

My Austpost has started to display 500 internal server errors. It was working fine and will work fine if the module is switched off or if the cURL is "No" but this disables the database connection. has anyone else had issues similar to this?

Also to the post above if you switch the cURL in your admin>modules>shipping>austpost to yes your issue should be sorted:)

It's because the vcsweb server is down - try it yourself:

    http://austpost.vcsweb.com/

My monitoring systems started alerting me at around 3:00-3:30 PM Eastern Australian time that it was inaccessible. I wondered since setting up a store for a client a few months ago just how reliable this server would be, and now I know.

In the meantime I've changed the server address in austpost.php to the direct http://drc.edeliver.com.au/ Australia Post server and have hard-coded the "fixed price" rates in so that it can continue to function until austpost.vcsweb.com comes back online.
