    Default No error message on declined card

    Hello,

    I am currently testing credit cards on my site. When a credit card is not successful e.g. insuficient funds, the customer is redirected back to my website (from the bank) to step 2 of 3 payment information page.

    This is fine, but there is no indication on the page to the customer that their credit card was unsuccessful (other than the fact that the page requires credit card information again). My questions are:
    (1) Should there be an error message to tell the customer that the order was not successfully paid for with their credit card? (I assume that there should be)
    (2) How do I go about displaying a clear error message in on this page? (btw In the top left hand corner I can see 'Insufficient Funds' in small type).

    I am using v1.3.0.1

    I'd upgrade to v1.3.5 and then check that you have not removed messages in your templates ...

    Thanks for that Linda. My knowledge and expertise is virtually nil, so upgrading my zen cart seems particularly daunting. I may try upgrading if I can not fix the problem.

    I have obviously done something stupid or deleted something. would it be possible for me to find where the error has occurred? If so, where do I begin to look?
