problems removing sideboxes with tpl_main_page

hi i was hoping someone could give me a hand. i want to remove the all the sideboxes from my product_info page.

so i copied tpl_main_page from temp/temp default/common and i put it in

temp/classic/product_info

now is where i start feeling dumb, i cannot find anything to uncomment in this file

i found this post and the code they show is commented, but my code isn't

try changing the following from:

    $flag_disable_right = true;
  }

to this:

    $flag_disable_right = true;
    $flag_disable_left = true;
  }

This should disable the right and left sideboxes on the product info page

thank you so much that worked perfectly

I'm such an idiot i didn't even see that you had to list the page that you wanted the boxes commented out for, i just though that you had to uncomment the code.

there is just one little problem now that i did that the boarder on my page disappeared

What happens is that you are "removing" the right side of the layout and the product inormation expands to take up the missing space.

You could play around with the CSS and adjust the margins and padding for that page (product_info).
