    Default Re: Discount Coupon Guide?!

I have a discount coupon set up but the link to redeem it only shows in the Info area on the left sidebar of the checkout page. This is a vvery small link and seems it would be easily missed by the customer. I there any way to put a coupon redemption box into the checkout form so people won't have to go looking for this?

There is already a Discount Coupon input box on the checkout_payment page of the checkout ...

Ive seen others in this thread with the same problem and haven't found a solution yet.
I create a coupon including HTML message in 'coupon admin'. when I click the email button it offers 2 text boxes rather than the HTML message coupon I created. The name of the HTML coupon I created is in the first field but the text boxes are sample text "We're pleased to offer you a Store Coupon."
How do I send the HTML coupon I created?

The HTML box is for the HTML portion of the email ...

The TEXT box is for the TEXT portion of the email ...

Some people cannot see HTML emails so you need a TEXT portion ...

So is it that I need to paste the HTML (and text option) in each time I send. I thought when I created the coupon it would save like i does in Newsletters

No ... you need to make a test and have both boxes filled for theHTML and TEXT to see what the customer will get ...

The TEXT is basically exactly what you type ...

You have to keep in mind what customers get for both methods ...

You cannot use the HTML in the TEXT because the TEXT is just that, TEXT ... and you cannot make that look all fancy ... you need to make it look good for a person reading TEXT emails ...

I dont think I explained my problem well.
I do understand the HTM and text boxes as they are like the ones I used in the Newsletter admin.
My problem is when I create a coupon and put HTML in its box and text in its box, define the term and dollar amount and such and click Preview, all is good, then save.
Now I go back to that coupon (call it #1) and select edit and then preview; all still looks good.
Problem is when I select the email button, it opens with the default text in both HTML and text areas even though at the top is says its coupon #1.
