I admit I am a total noob with Zen, but have a vast experience with a certain other cart, and setting enable_ssl to false doesn't always do it. Sometimes you need to leave out any https paths as well. I'm not sure if this is the problem here, but it won't harm to leave them out and might help.

Beg to differ ... Zen Cart utilizes those settings to know how to correctly set the secure and non-secure pages ... so you can safely utilize the Enable set to false ... that is why they are there ...![]()

I am having this same issue on IIS 5. It will create customer accounts, but will not allow them to log in. I also have been unable to edit the text in the html_includes, etc via the admin interface. I've had to manually edit the php files.
I set the use_pconnect to true in the configure.php and erased all references to https locations, stopped and restarted the web service, and the issue went away.
odd solution ...
The pconnect is set to not work regardless of the setting at this time ...
Perhaps it was something else that the restart was able to fix for you ...

Now that I think about it, I may have enabled a PHP extension at the suggestion of the setup, but I may not have restarted it until then. I think it was:
extension=php_curl.dll
I don't know if this would affect this issue or not.
Agh! Didn't notice your name in the signature - abject apologies - zen noob - from one ex- osC Team Member to another!

It's our own server, I have someone help with the tech stuff. I know enough to be dangerous. 8)Originally Posted by Kim
The issue right now is that the user stays logged in, but when you go to check out, it just loops after you try to go to the payment information. Any ideas?
