    Rather then tell you what files, I will tell you how to find out which files that way you can use it again and again.

    In your store admin, select tools > developer tools >

    enter the text, "congratulation you have succesfully installed", or other text you want to find and select all catalog files or all admin & catalog files and search. This will give you the files with path and the line #'s where the text is.

    FTP the file to your PC.

    Use your editor and open the file, change the text being careful not to omit the required ' or tags etc. Save the file. FTP it back to your override folder on your install. open the site in your browser or refresh and see the effect of your change.

    You should try again...
    I just did what I outlined and got this...btw this is where it is but you should also find the same thing

    /includes/languages/english/index.php
    Code:
    Line #51 : define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution.');

    Line #55 : define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution.');
    Be sure to copy this to your override folder and edit the copied file

    I have versions 1.2.4
    1.2.7
    1.3.0
    1.3.0.1

    installed on a local server

    the version should not be the factor for the search function here though

    Hmm, I got the same result as Kobra.
    Just to make sure you're doing exactly the same thing (and forgive me if this seems too basic), here's the precise process:

    1. In the Admin section, go to Tools -> Developers Tool Kit
    2. Enter 'successfully installed' in the 'Key or Name' box in the first section entitled 'Look-up CONSTANT or Language File defines'.
    3. Select 'All Language Files for ENGLISH' in the neighbouring 'Language File Look-ups' drop down list.
    4. Click 'Search' and you should get details of the two files Kobra listed above.

    If it still doesn't work then let us know what your screen displays after clicking 'Search'.

    You realy should consider using the template override system. It takes some extra time initially but then you will not lose your changes with later upgrades and patches.
