    Default Attribute Math Functions

Trying to understand the attribute pricing. From what I have attempted I know that I do not understand what the functions are nor how they are applied or calculated.

    There are:

    Price, weight, order, One time

    Then there is:

    Price Factor Offset

    Onetime Factor Offset

i.e. setting the Price factor to 1 incereases the price by the cost of the item
setting the Offset in the same area to 1 subtracts the cost of the item

I do not see the logic in having one add and the other subtract, hence I know that I have missed the purpose of these settings

Through T&E and knowing what they do I have been able to kludge a desired response from carefully setting the values in these areas.

What I would really appreciate is to be filled in on what I am missing; Their intended functions.

What I currently believe is the following, which is most probably not what is intended:

+ = add but setting to - (minus) has a null effect
Price = adds the entered value to the base price
    + =
    Weight =
    Order =
Onetime = For a onetime charge and places a notifiation in the product listing
placing a - (minus) with this value has a null effect

Price Factor = Adds the base cost X times to the total
Offset = Subtracts the base cost X times from the total

Does someone know what the intended functions are and possibly their intended interactions?
