subscribe newsletter without account

sorry I had to make a new post since all the archive posts are locked and downloads doesnt work. I'd need the subscribe mod download. anyone have it up somewhere? cheers

We still use 1.27 since I havent been able to get anything to work in 130 so the old zip is fine.

I've got a version running on 1.3.0.1 that also incorporates the newsletter unsubscribe modification submitted at the end of the archive thread.

I'm in the process of backing it out now (I did the mod on my dev site and of course didn't cvs it) so I can package it for others to use. I'll probably have it ready by the end of this weekend-It's almost there but I want to add one functionality (email subscriber) and give it another test-install to make sure it's working properly before I unleash it. I'll be glad to post it when I do.

im also looking for a newsletter subscription mod.. but want one wich will work with both 1.2.6 and 1.3.0.1 , since i'll be upgrading my site in couple of weeks...

i installed this module, but it show it in the header along with the search. i want to take the search off and show this module on the right side... hmm, any help ?

you wish to take the search out of the header?

The search header is controlled in admin on the layout boxes page (look for search_header).

The readme file told you how what page added the subscribe header...reverse that to take it out if not wanted.

I believe the sidebox (subscribe.php) is also controlled via the layout box page in admin.

While I'm working on a 1.3 version I did not spend much time working with this in 1.2.7 so I'm not an authority in any sense. Your best bet for making changes with 1.2.7 is to read the old archive thread and see if your question was asked there.
