The linked site (review/informational site) is one of the highest ranked sites on the internet for my product group. We have exchanged links and now I would like to draw more customers from that site with discount coupons. The one stipulation is that the discount coupon has to be permanent, unique and exclusive.
The problem with this scenario is that using discount coupons and group pricing they have to be added to to discount pricing group by me before they can take advantage of the discount.
As you know most internet shoppers don't want to wait until they get approved for a discount by a webmaster two days later, they want their discount right away so they can buy their products and get them shipped.
Is there any way for them to use a discount coupon without the requirement that they be in the discount pricing group?
Or is there a way that the customers can add themselves to a discount pricing group by entering the coupon code in a specially marked form box on the account creation page?
Or is there a way to nullify the necessity for the group discount pricing by just making it a valid coupon for anyone who comes to the site? Of course they would have to see the coupon code on the linked site in order to use it. This would actually be ideal.
Please HELP
